The Learn To Orienteer program will be run again in 2026. The program is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to those who might have tried orienteering but want more formal training. Add your name to the Wait List if you are interested in this program in 2026.

To do orienteering in your own time, choose a DIY Permanent Course or download the MapRun App for Android and iOs. New maps are added regularly.

The St Peters River Park Permanent Courses have been re-opened. The map has been re-drawn in sprint style with lots of updates. The courses have also been modified. To download a course for this or any other permanent course go to Permanent Course
The results for the SA Long Championships for 1999 and 2005 have been recovered and can be seen by going to Results -> Results Archive

The Great Australian KID-O Scavenger hunt for 2025 is now live!

Join our KID-O ambassadors Connie, Rocky, Wash and Dizzy this June for the first ever Great Australian KID-O Scavenger Hunt.

Rules for the Scavenger hunt:

Compete or attend an event (or multi day events) between the 31st May -17th June.

Answer the questions in the scavenger hunt with the help of an adult.

HAVE AN ADULT submit answers by the 17th June.
Please take care completing the scavenger hunt questions.

Participants must be 10 or under. Participants do NOT have to be members of a club. This competition is open to all aged 10 and under.

Prizes for:

-different age class winners (0-2) (3-4) (5-6)( 7-8) (9-10)

-colouring competition (0-2) (3-4) (5-6)( 7-8) (9-10)

-most entries from one state or territory
