South Australians to Represent Australia

Three South Australian Juniors are competing at the Junior World Orienteering Championships to be held from 6 – 12 July in Aarhus and Silkeborg in Denmark.  Angus Haines s competing in his second JWOC, whilst Dante Afnan and Joanna George are first time representatives.  All three juniors compete in all events. In August, the World Orienteering Championships are to be held in Sarpsborg in Norway from 12 – 17th August. Simon Uppill (at his 10th WOC representation for Australia) and Bridget Anderson at her second, are both competing in the Middle Distance and Relay. 2019 is the first WOC to run only forest events, sprint WOC is in 2020.
