The weather at Morialta was excellent for orienteering, albeit a little chilly for the organisers early in the morning.
Nigel Dodson Keeffe set six courses to suit the broad range of effort and navigational difficulty that orienteers wished. The long hard course was popular and certainly tested the steep terrain of Morialta, and Nigel made the most of the map to achieve the distance required.
The short hard course was also popular, demonstrating the desire for a navigational test
but not necessarily busting oneself on a Sunday morning.
It was pleasing to see groups, with both family and friends participating.
A thank you to Gerry Velaitis for managing the SI system and all Yalangans for their organisation efforts.
